Reviews and Ratings
Our stay had a mix of highlights and low points. While the food quality was excellent and the staff proved friendly and helpful, we were disappointed by the outdated decor and some service hiccups, especially during breakfast. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, adding to its charm, but the room and common areas desperately need an upgrade.
I recently stayed at Newton Park, and while the hotel itself is a stunning old building set in lovely gardens, the experience was a mixed bag. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth, but I found the room to be outdated and cramped. The potential is there, but it feels like the hotel hasn't kept up with modern expectations, especially in the room decor and bathroom facilities. Overall, it’s a place of charm but could use significant improvements to bring it into the current century.
The hotel has a charming atmosphere with historical touches, but it appears to be in need of a facelift. While the staff tried their best, some aspects of the dining experience were less than satisfactory, particularly during busy times. The comfortable beds were a plus, but the overall experience at meals fell short due to inefficiencies. Overall, it has potential but would benefit from renovations and staff training.
I had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel with its lovely, historical character. The staff was incredibly helpful and the food served during our dinner and breakfast was delicious and well-prepared. However, I did notice a few areas that could use some attention, such as room maintenance and cleanliness in certain spots. Overall, it was quite an enjoyable experience with some memorable moments.
The hotel has a charming character with beautiful grounds and a friendly atmosphere. The event experience, especially the Murder Mystery night, was well done and enjoyable. However, the rooms are in desperate need of updates and can feel a bit shabby. While the staff are accommodating, the overall cleanliness and room facilities need improvement.
